LaPrade's Marina stands out as an excellent choice for shopping, grab-and-go options, as well as an impressive array of dining choices. Kristi's personal favorite is Milton Park, where you can delight in a sumptuous food and wine menu.
Beyond the marinas, Lake Burton is home to several parks that offer camping, hiking, and picnic facilities. Moccasin Creek State Park is a fantastic spot for fishing, featuring a boat dock and a wheelchair-accessible fishing pier. From Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, Moccasin Creek also hosts Boat Church every Sunday. Timpson Cove Park, operated by Georgia Power, offers a swimming area complete with restrooms and picnic tables. Jones Bridge Park, also managed by Georgia Power, provides awe-inspiring views of the lake from the northern edge.
